The Club LA CORNEJA DE GREDOS

The international free flying club LA CORNEJA DE GREDOS was formed during an evening in a terrace bar in Piedrahita with the idea of giving a new impulse to flying in the area.  The founding members are/were 12 hang gliding and paragliding pilots amongst some have been flying from Peña Negra for 20 years.

We want to leave behind all the problems of the past and make a fresh start to establish our sport here.  We have many ideas about possible activities related to flying, but we know that all depends upon having a suitable and safe infrastructure (take off and landings).

We have been in constant contact with the Town hall of Piedrahita, the Provincial Government and other implicated people to present our SUGGESTIONS on these issues.
